What do I need to do to receive my Broker License? And can I take the classes with RAR?

You would need to complete 180 hours of Broker Pre-license education and must have been "actively engaged" in real estate full-time (averaging 40/hours week) for 36 of the 48 months prior to applying with DPOR. You would then need to take the State and National exam with PSI and complete the DPOR application. Here is a guide from DPOR with information on applying for a Broker’s license.

RAR holds a Broker Pre-licensing Fast Track series at the beginning of the year (January-March) with sign-ups occurring at the end of November/early December. You can contact us at RAR to be included on the Inquiry List for the series so you can be contacted for registration information when it becomes available.

I took Broker Pre-licensing classes two years ago, are my certificates still good?

Yes, the certificates do not expire.

If I take additional hours of Broker Supervision, does the credit transfer to Broker Management?

No, it becomes Real Estate Related.
