My license is “Inactive” on DPOR, what do I do?

If your license is inactive with DPOR then you cannot practice Real Estate until it is reactivated/reinstated with DPOR.

Steps to take with DPOR:

  • If it is under 30 days of your expiration date, then you can still pay to have it renewed with DPOR with no additional fees or education.
  • However, you are inactive until your payment is received and updated with DPOR. Additional fees may apply as well. You must contact DPOR to confirm and resolve the issue.

  • If it has been more than 30 days since your license has been inactivated, then you would need to pay additional renewal fees with DPOR, as well as complete the Continuing Education requirements prior to reinstatement.

Steps to take with RAR:

  • If your license is inactive at DPOR, then your RAR membership and/or CVR MLS subscription will be suspended.

  • Please contact our Member Services team at [email protected] ASAP so we may assist you with reinstatement options.
