My License is Inactive or Expired on DPOR

If your license is inactive or expired on DPOR, then you cannot practice real estate until it has been reactivated/reinstated with DPOR.

An expired license may be a result of missing a renewal fee or not finishing CE hours.

An inactive license may be a result of not having affiliation with a firm or renewal was never completed for an extended period of time.

RAR is not able to determine why your license is inactive or expired or what steps are needed to reinstate your license. You must reach out to DPOR for more information.

Steps to take with DPOR:

  • If today is within 30 days of your expiration date, then you can still pay to have your license renewed with DPOR with no additional fees or education. However, your license will be inactive until your payment has been received and updated with DPOR.
  • If it has been more than 30 days since your license has been inactivated, then you will need to pay additional renewal fees with DPOR, as well as complete any Continuing Education requirements, prior to your reinstatement.

Please contact DPOR to confirm and resolve issues with your license, our Member Services team is not able to reactivate your license.

Steps to take with RAR:

  • If your license is listed as inactive or expired in DPOR, then your RAR membership and/or CVR MLS subscription will be suspended.
  • Please contact our Member Services team at [email protected] ASAP so we may assist you with your membership status.
