If your license is inactive on DPOR, then you cannot practice real estate until it has been reactivated/reinstated with DPOR.

Steps to take with DPOR:

  • If today is within 30 days of your expiration date, then you can still pay to have your license renewed with DPOR with no additional fees or education.
  • However, your license will be inactive until your payment has been received and updated with DPOR. You must contact DPOR to confirm and resolve this issue.
  • If it has been more than 30 days since your license has been inactivated, then you will need to pay additional renewal fees with DPOR, as well as complete any Continuing Education requirements, prior to your reinstatement.

Steps to take with RAR:

  • If your license is listed as inactive in DPOR, then your RAR membership and/or CVR MLS subscription will be suspended.
  • Please contact our Member Services team at [email protected] ASAP so we may assist you with reinstatement options.
